Für Käufer der Limited Edition gibt es die Erweiterung “Back to Karkand”. In dieser Erweiterung sind vier Karten aus dem Vorgänger Battlefield 2 enthalten. Diese sind selbstverständlich grafisch aufgearbeitet und angepasst mithilfe der Frostbite Engine 2.0!

Die Erweiterung wird nach dem Release auch noch verfügbar sein, jedoch kostenpflichtig!
