Battlefield 3 Spieler können sich nächste Woche auf neue News zum geplanten DLC freuen
Es sind einige Fakten genannt worden, unter anderem über ein kommentiertes Video, welches ungefähr ahnen lässt wohin die Richtung geht. Spätestens kommende Woche gibt es seitens EA eine offizielle Ankündigung zum neuen DLC.

Punkbuster gehackt!
Derzeit sorgen gefälschte Bannlisten in der Battlefield 3 Community für Schlagzeilen: Hacker sollen es geschafft haben Zocker und Admins zu bannen, wie sie das taten ist bislang noch unklar.
Bereits gestern ist es Hackern gelungen gefälschte Bannlisten in Umlauf zu bringen, es waren 150 Spieler davon betroffen, unter anderem sind auch Admins der ESL Liga unter den Gebannten gewesen.
Dabei handelt es sich um die GGC-Bann Liste, welche unter anderem durch Punkbuster überprüft wird.Die Hacker suchten bei ihrer Auswahl willkürlich Spieler heraus und fügten die GUID ( welche in den Stats ersichtlich ist ) des Spielers in die Liste ein, somit kann jeder betroffen sein.
Nach aktuellem Stand des GGC – Projektleiters sind nun alle Fakebans erkannt und entfernt worden.Wer dennoch aus keinem ersichtlichen Grund gebannt ist solle sich direkt an GGC wenden.

Adjustment of the strength / weakness of the following weapons:
- Bipod
- Foregrip
- Heavy Barrel
- Flash Suppressor
- Target Pointer
About the Foregrip:
- the recoil forces are to be reduced
- the accuracy will drop by 20%
Bipod:
- the recoil forces are to be reduced
- Scattering of the projectiles is reduced
- quick start is possible
Heavy Barrel:
- better camouflage
- greater range
- less accuracy
Flash Suppressor:
- better camouflage
- same range / accuracy
Target Pointer:
- reduction in the intensity
